YouTube API Services Privacy Notice
Dijital Pilot Rek. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. (“Dijital Pilot”, “we”) operates an internal tool, Dijital Pilot Upload Scheduler, that uses the YouTube API Services. By using YouTube features through our services, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google’s handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What the tool does
The tool uploads video files that we produce ourselves to YouTube channels that we own and manage, sets their title, description, tags and thumbnail, and schedules them as private videos with a publish time. After each upload it reads back the video’s status to confirm the upload. It is used only by Dijital Pilot staff and is not offered to the public or to third parties.
What data we access, and why
- OAuth access tokens for our own channels, used only to upload and verify our own videos.
- Metadata of videos on our own channels (title, privacy status, scheduled publish time, processing status), used only to check that uploads are correct and to avoid duplicates.
We do not access, collect, store or share personal data of YouTube viewers or of any other channel. We do not use YouTube API data for advertising.
Storage and sharing
Access tokens and upload receipts (video ID, file checksum, scheduled time) are stored on our own computer and are not shared with any third party. YouTube API data is not sold or transferred.
Deletion and revoking access
Stored upload receipts are deleted on request or when no longer needed, and API data is refreshed or deleted within 30 days as required by the YouTube API Services Developer Policies. Access granted to the tool can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page.
